These gorgets are manufactured from 16 Guage mild steel, 18 Guage stainless steel, or .040 Titanium. Hinged on the right side, buckled on the left, these gorgets are lined along the neckline with two layers of heavy suede (more comfortable , absorbent, and breathable than foam). The bib section of the gorget is leather articulated from the collar elements of the gorget, this allows sufficient motion between those two plates to greatly increase flexibility when turning your head, and makes the gorget much more comfortable to wear as well. These Gorgets are standard with flared edges around the neck for comfort, and a high-collar section with a chin cutout for better protection, particularly with faceplates that extend away from your face.
