These are clamshell gauntlets, in the Milanese style (which is more squared off than the other clamshell design we typically build)
These have full contact lames over both the fingers and the thumb (also available with an optional enclosed thumbtip. . . which while not strictly necessary, has been requested enough that we offer it) Full contact lames mean that the metal will contact your weapon on each side of your fingers, forming a full "inverted U" over your hands.
The titanium version of these gauntlets weighs (this is simply silly) roughly .87 lbs each! That's less than the plastic clamshells that an associate of mine wears!
As with all our gauntlets, these are made specifically to your size, from a set of gloves that you provide.
Our standard leather-articulated butted wrist provides a bit more flexibility in the wrist than a fully riveted hourglass wrist, while being -almost- as protective.
