First in our "Combat Basics" line, these helms are designed for the new fighter, or for the more budget constrained. Fabricated from 16g stainless steel, welded inside and out, ground smooth, and then with a permanantly attached faceplate or grill treatment. Helms of this type have been rightly called "The workhorse helm of the SCA"
This is the basic "I need to get on the field and be competetive" helmet.
We black out all our bargrills, to make your visibility better, (this is particularly important in bright sunlight, where reflections from a metallic bargrill can significantly impede your overall visibility.)
These helms can take on a very personal flair with some custom engraving or brasswork. . . your helmet shouldn't look like everyone else's. . . let us help you have an -original-.
