Leather trim, in either full-grain leather, or in a split or "suede" finish can be added to your armour, usually as a border around the edges of the piece.  This can be a very visually striking technique, and can be used to good effect to better visually anchor the metal pieces of your kit to a suede covered coat of plates, for instance.

Border options available in both suede leather and full grain include scallops, crenelations, pointed scallops, and straight edges;  each with or without contrasting rivitwork.

Fullgrain leather trim in your choice of colors is available for an upcharge of 10% on the price of the piece, rivit trimmed fullgrain trim is available for a 15% upcharge.

Split leather trim ("suede") in your choice of colors and border pattern is available for an upcharge of 5% on the price ofthe piece, rivit trimmed suede is available for a 10% upcharge.

Color options available in both fullgrain and suede leathers are shown below.  Note:  due to the fact that leather is a natural animal product, color variation from hide to hide, and sometimes even from area to area within the same skin should be expected.
