Spring Pins
Spring pin closures are pins (roughly 3/8" in diameter) welded to the inside of piece of armour via a short length of spring tempered steel. These pins are typically utilized as an integrated closure mechanism in some armour applications, most often to secure pivoting or removable faceplates on helmets.
Spring Pins are available additions to a piece of armour at $50 per pin/latch. Pin materials will match the material of the surrounding armour.
Latch hooks
Latch hooks are small hand-forged pivoting hooks which are attatched to the exterior of a piece of armour to serve as an integrated closure or securing mechanism. They are typically utilized on the sides of a helmet to hold a pivoting visor closed, or on arm or leg harnesses to hold them closed.
Latch hooks are available additions to a piece of armour at a rate of $30 per hook/latch. Latch hook materials will be manufactured to match the material of the surrounding armour.
