The standard policies and procedures for Performance Armour are listed below for your reference.  By purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these policies.

Our Guarantee

We unconditionally guarantee products purchased from us to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 30 days from delivery.  If, during that time, you are unsatified with any of our products, please contact us to allow us to remedy the situation.  Remedies could include repair, replacement, or refund at our sole discretion.  Refunds, minus the cost of shipping and handling,  may be offered only for standard (non-customized) items returned to us within 30 days of purchase in as-sold condition. 

Delivery Timelines and Deadlines

Performance Armour specifically and explicitly does not, and will not,  ever work to a given timeline or delivery deadline.  Any communication between any member of our staff and a client related to when a project could or will be completed is understood to be a good faith estimate, and NOT a deadline.   (and no, we're not kidding.  If you have a particular event or somesuch that you want a piece made in time for. . . we will make every effort to accomodate your request. . . but, given the choices that I regularly need to make between quality and speed. . . I am going to continue to choose to make high quality pieces, even if that means we go beyond a targetted date.  This means that if you need it next tuesday, unless it's listed as in-stock, we're probably not the armoury for you.)

Shipping and Handling Charges

All listed prices are + shipping and handling.  We exclusively utilize UPS for delivery.  (unless it is prohibitively expensive to do so, as is sometimes the case with international shipments)  Actual packing and shipping charges will be passed on to the purchaser  without modification. 

Safety of Products and Liability during Use

Due to the unpredictable manner in which our products may be utilized, you specifically and unconditionally agree to hold Performance Armour and all it's employees and suppliers harmless for any injuries experienced during the use of our products.

Right to Remedy

Performance Armour reserves the right to remedy a situation that has caused you any dissatisfaction with us or our products.  This right to remedy extends  for a period of 60 days from the date of us receiving your written complaint via US mail, and this time period will be exhausted before any other action may be taken.

All content on this sight is copyrighted 2004, 2005, 2006  Performance Armour.  Any duplication, or other use of this content is prohibited without written permission from Performance Armour.   (this particularly applies to images herein, and yes. . . we will pursue immediate legal action if we find any of our product on someone else's website and listed as their own work)

Personal Information

Performance Armour will never sell or otherwise make your personal information available to another individual or entity.  Performance Armour does however, require a full set of contact information from you in order to place an order.  That includes a valid mailing address, a valid email address, and a valid telephone number.  This is to insure that we have multiple ways available to get ahold of you with any needed questions or information regarding your order.

Payment Terms

For In-Stock items, payment in full, including shipping & handling is due before the product is shipped.

For Custom  Commission items (which are the vast majority of the work we do), 50% of the total is due before you will be entered in the Commission Que.  Work will not be initiated on a custom commission until the initial 50% deposit, measurements, full multi-method contact information, and any other correlary information have been received.  The remaining 50% of the total + shipping & handling is due upon completion of the item, and will be received (and cleared, if necessary) before the item is shipped.

Items that have been completed as custom commissions, but have not had the remaining 50% of the purchase price paid for 60 days from completion will have a certified letter sent to the purchaser notifying them of a 30 day window to complete payment or forfeit the item.  Items that have still not been paid for within 90 days of notification of completion are  forfeited to the armoury (along with the initial 50% deposit), and will be sold as in-stock items.  (we're not ogres here. . . if there's a problem, please -contact me- and we'll try to work something out, please don't force me to sieze and sell a piece you commissioned because you have evaporated off the planet)

Payment is accepted via personal check, cashier's check,  money order, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or Paypal.  

We prefer to process Credit card transactions exclusively by phone (I don't like having my credit card information floating about on the web, and I'm sure you don't either)  To process a credit card, call me at 317.773.7042.
