A bargrill designed to emulate a Barbute Faceplate.
Aside from having a better overall appearance than the type 1 bargrills, some like the unobstructed field of visiton through the "eyeslot" better than other bargrill designs.
Type 2 - Sunburst Bargrill
While still maintaining the "eyeslot" appearance, this design incorporates a "sunburst" of barwork radiating out from the center of the eyeslot, above and below.
This bargrill is particularly striking in appearance, especially when a contrasting color paint is used to make the "rays" of the sunburst stand out. (ie" black out the entire bargrill, and then paint a faint gold streak over some of the "rays")
Type 2 - Bi Directional Bargrill
This design maintains the horizontal bar sections over the primary vision areas (as most fighters are used to that, and believe that it interferes with vision less), while adding a vertical section of barwork over the lower face.
Basically same good visual qualities as a type 1 horizontal bargrill, while looking a lot less like a football helmet. ;-)
